The students in Ester Davila's and Flor Melgar's Spanish native and level IV and V classes at Walter G. O'Connell Copiague High School recently participated in Hofstra University's annual Poetry Contest. For the fourth year in a row, Copiague students were awarded the top two spots in original poetry and first place in recitation.
