ILLINOIS POET LAUREATE KEVIN STEIN announced this year's Illinois Association of Teachers of English best poetry and prose in the state. Poetry and prose students at Lyons Township High School were recognized. Winners in the prose contest were Anna Krueger and Katrina Palak. Winners in the poetry contest were Krueger, Rosy Phinick and Sarah Boots.
